De l'ambiguïté à la variation en terminologie: étude à partir des termes rénovation énergétique et riqualificazione energetica

Abstract

This article focuses on the phenomenon of terminological indeterminacy, which may concern emerging fields. This contribution tries to show the relevance of this characteristic in the field of sustainable construction for the French term rénovation énergétique and its Italian counterpart riqualificazione energetica. Based on an observation of corpora of experts in the field, this paper will show how the indeterminate semantic features of these two complex terminological units may cause the use of terminological variants, the status of which is unclear and remains to be defined.
